叙事视角指的是小说选用什么样的人,这个人从什么样的角度来观察故事、讲述故事。视角选择对传递小说的主题意义具有重要作用,它体现了作者的叙事谋略,是评定小说艺术优劣的重要方面。“在小说技巧中,我把视角问题——叙事者与故事之间的关系——看做最复杂的方法问题。”[1]叙事视角的探讨成为小说研究者的重要观测点。在雁翼的小说中,他多数使用的是第一人称限制叙事,尤其是《深圳奇情录》中所收入的29篇作品全部使用了这种叙事视角。
Narrative point of view refers to what kind of person the novel chooses, from what kind of point of view the person observes the story and tells the story. The choice of perspective plays an important role in conveying the theme of the novel. It reflects the author’s narrative strategy and is an important aspect of assessing the art of the novel. “In my novel technique, I view the perspective problem - the relationship between the narrator and the story - as the most complex methodological problem.” [1] The discussion of the narrative perspective has become an important observation point for the researchers of the novel. In Yan Wei’s novels, most of his works use the first-person limited narrative, and in particular, 29 works collected from the “Wonderland of Shenzhen” all use this narrative perspective.
