2009年10月30日14时52分,葛起明先生在杭州与世长辞,享年82岁。早在1945年,他在上海念中学时就加入了中国共产党,他一边求学,一边积极从事地下革命工作。1946年考入同济大学土木工程系,于解放初大学毕业,在北京国家计委、建委参与新中国的城市规划建设与管理工作,积累了深厚的专业理论基础与管理经验。1958年由国家建委调任浙江省城建局工作,对浙江省的城乡规划建设与管理实践作出了巨大的贡献。
At 14:52 on October 30, 2009, Mr. Ge Qiming died in Hangzhou at the age of 82. As early as 1945, he joined the Communist Party of China when he was a secondary school in Shanghai. While studying, he actively engaged in underground revolutionary work. In 1946 admitted to Tongji University Department of Civil Engineering, graduated from Liberation University in Beijing, the State Planning Commission, Construction Committee to participate in new China’s urban planning and construction and management, has accumulated a profound professional theoretical foundation and management experience. In 1958, the State Construction Commission transferred to work in Zhejiang Province Urban Construction Bureau, Zhejiang Province, urban and rural planning and construction management practices have made tremendous contributions.
