光纤通信,是以光波作为信息载体,以光纤作为传输媒介的一种通信方式。无线电波和光波共同属于电磁波,但是光波相比于无线电波波长短、频率高,由此光波具有通信容量大、传输频带宽、抗电磁干扰能力强的优点。然而单根光纤毕竟带宽有限,为了提高光网络的传输能力,达到扩容的目的,复用的技术的应用迫在眉睫。本文从光纤通信发展中的复用技术入手,总结每种复用技术各自的特点,找出技术发展的瓶颈,探寻更适用于当今光交换网的复用方式,着力于当今通信网络的扩容问题,并就未来复用技术的趋势与应用前景作出展望。
Optical fiber communication is based on light wave as an information carrier and optical fiber as a transmission medium. Radio waves and light waves belong to the same electromagnetic wave, but the light waves have short wavelength and high frequency compared with the radio waves. Therefore, the light waves have the advantages of large communication capacity, wide transmission frequency band and strong anti-electromagnetic interference ability. However, after all, a single fiber bandwidth is limited, in order to improve the optical network transmission capacity, to achieve the purpose of expansion, the application of reuse technology is imminent. This article starts with the multiplexing technology in the development of optical fiber communication, summarizes the respective characteristics of each multiplexing technology, finds the bottleneck of technology development, explores more suitable for the multiplexing mode of today’s optical switching network, and focuses on the expansion of communication networks today , And prospects for future trends and application of multiplexing technology.
