干扰素是巳被确定的第一种抗癌生物制剂。也是第一种经基因工程制备的抗癌剂,从而使临床可按中等价格大量获得纯净型产品。许多不同的恶性肿瘤病人巳接受了α-干扰素治疗。虽然β-和γ-干扰素在少数病人中进行了试验,但仍是有意义的。实验结果表明,所有上述各型干扰素的抗癌作用主要是通过直接抑制细胞分裂而不是刺激免疫系统。宜接抗癌千扰素的剂量越大,效果就越强。
Interferon is the first anticancer biologic to be identified. It is also the first anti-cancer agent prepared by genetic engineering, so that a large number of pure products can be obtained clinically at moderate prices. Many different cancer patients have received alpha-interferon therapy. Although beta- and interferon-gamma were tested in a small number of patients, it is still significant. The experimental results show that the anticancer effect of all the above-mentioned interferons is mainly through direct inhibition of cell division rather than stimulating the immune system. The greater the dose of anticancer interferon, the stronger the effect.
