目的:测定粤西地区年龄相关性白内障(age-related cataract,ARC)患者晶状体核中11种元素含量,并探讨其与年龄的关系及有毒微量元素Cd和Pb之间的关系。方法:选取61名行囊外摘除术的ARC的连续病例,采用等离子体原子发射光谱法测定晶状体核中Ca、S、Ba、Co、Mg、Mn、P、Zn、Pb、Cd和Cu元素的含量。结果:全部晶状体核均含有Ca、S、Mg、P和Zn等元素,Ba、Co、Pb和Cu等元素存在于大多数晶状体核中,Cd和Mn仅存在于少数晶状体核中。11种元素含量均与中老年以上年龄的增加无相关性,提示该11种元素在中老年人晶状体核中的含量相对稳定。Cd和Pb呈负相关(r=-0.549,P=0.042)。结论:ARC患者的晶状体核中含有该11种元素,含量差别较大,与年龄的增加均无相关性。有毒微量元素Cd和Pb含量可能有负相关关系,两种元素的含量可能不会同时增加。
Objective: To determine the content of eleven elements in the lens nucleus of age-related cataract (ARC) patients in western Guangdong and to explore its relationship with age and the relationship between the toxic trace elements Cd and Pb. Methods: Sixty-one consecutive ARC patients undergoing excisional capsulotomy were enrolled in this study. The contents of Ca, S, Ba, Co, Mg, Mn, P, Zn, Pb, Cd and Cu in the lens nucleus were measured by plasma atomic emission spectrometry . Results: All of the lens nuclei contained Ca, S, Mg, P and Zn elements. Elements such as Ba, Co, Pb and Cu existed in most of the nuclei. Cd and Mn existed only in a few nuclei. The content of 11 kinds of elements had no correlation with the increase of the age above middle age, which indicated that the content of these 11 kinds of elements in the lens nucleus of middle aged and old people was relatively stable. There was a negative correlation between Cd and Pb (r = -0.549, P = 0.042). CONCLUSION: The lens nuclei of ARC patients contain the eleven elements, but their contents vary greatly with age. The toxic trace elements Cd and Pb content may have a negative correlation, the content of the two elements may not increase at the same time.
