2005年12月15～16日,由暨南大学、中国世界华文文学学会和香港作家联会共同主办的“首届世界华文文学高峰论坛”,在广州增城百花山庄召开。来自大陆、港台地区与海外的70多位嘉宾和学者齐聚一堂,就当前世界华文文学研究中的四个重要理论问题“文化属性与文化身份”、“离散与认同”、“后殖民语境下的本土性与融合问题”和“现代性问题:经典与文学史”,进行热烈研讨。这是2002年5 月中国世界华文文学学会成立以来的一次高层学术会议,也是该学术领域首届举办的高峰论坛。
From December 15 to December 2005, the “First World Chinese Literature Summit” co-sponsored by Jinan University, the Chinese World Chinese Literature Association and the Hong Kong Federation of Writers’ Associations was held in Baihua Villa, Zengcheng, Guangzhou. More than 70 guests and scholars from Mainland China, Hong Kong and Taiwan and overseas gathered together to discuss four important theoretical issues in the study of Chinese literature in the world: “Cultural Attributes and Cultural Identity”, “Discrepancy and Identity”, “Post-Colonialism Local issues and integration issues ”and“ Modern issues: the history of classical and literary ”, for a lively discussion. This is a high-level academic conference since the establishment of the World Chinese Literature Institute in May 2002 and the first summit forum to be held in the academic field.
