The electrical principle of 2 × 2 000 kN unidirectional bridge machine of Guizhou Goupitan Hydropower Station is introduced in detail. The principle and level adjustment of hydraulic grab beam are explained, and the frequency converter, brake unit and resistance of hoisting mechanism are calculated and selected in detail.
