水平定向钻机的正常行走速度为1~3 km/h,但在转场运输过程中爬升板车时,由于钻机质量偏大,重心偏高,正常行走速度模式下极易发生钻机侧滑、翻车等事故,甚至造成人身安全事故。针对手柄直控、带控制器两种类型钻机,分别利用液压卸荷及修改控制程序的方法,实现水平定向钻机低速、稳定地爬升板车。
