British writer Margaret Drabble’s recent “Red Princess” style different. Most of the critics both at home and abroad have noticed the unique narrative structure spanning time and space. However, the deep meaning of this narrative structure arrangement is rarely discussed. In the first part of the novel, the ancient court life of the 18th century North Korean princess depicts the panorama of a long time spent by foreign women. The second part of Modernism focuses on contemporary British intellectual woman Barbara. Holly Will’s everyday life dribbles. Despite the passage of time spanning two centuries and the shift of space from the East to the West, Barbara’s life resembles the striking resemblance of the life experience of the North Korean princess: both have the pain of a mourning; both husbands are mad by the clash between father and son or Trigger other mental illness and so on. Through this comparison, the author intends to show that although human beings are constantly moving forward, people in different regions of different ages face some common problems that require people to confront and solve them together. In the postmodern period, In part, Drabble himself became a part of the work, and she intended to pass on the story of the Red Queen, incorporating the introduction of a Chinese girl by Chen Weiyi, a daughter of Vivian Hollwell and Vivian Cousin Chen Jianyi will represent the future and hope of mutual understanding and mutual understanding between East and West. Through this cross-border cross-border cultural writing of different cultures, Drabble wants to explore the possibility of global understanding of the theme, showing Drabble’s global vision, a strong sense of responsibility for the times and humanity Survival of the ultimate concern. However, through textual analysis, we find that Drabble finally gets rid of the superiority of its white culture and impresses with the profound Orientalism.
