在某些情况下,硫化矿可同炸药发生反应而形成一种自催化化学反应。这种反应是放热性的,结果产生大量有毒气体,形成既不安全又不稳定的状况,可能引起低能爆燃,或者甚至引爆已装药的炮孔。本文概述产生此种发热反应所必需具备的条件,以及在反应矿区尽量减轻或消除这一问题应采取的预防措施。详细叙述有关北安大略矿的特例研究。
In some cases, sulphide ore can react with explosives to form an autocatalytic chemical reaction. This reaction is exothermic, resulting in a large amount of toxic gas, creating a situation that is neither safe nor stable, may cause a low-level deflagration, or even detonate a charged hole. This paper outlines the conditions necessary for generating such an exothermic reaction and the precautions to be taken to minimize or eliminate this problem in the reaction zone.
