从济南市区出发,沿经十路东行,在章丘市龙山镇东、济青公路北侧,有一长方形高地,宛若城垣,名日“城子崖”。其周围多是声名昭彰之地。在城子崖遗址东北约2千米处,是东平陵故城遗址。东平陵城,自春秋始,于两汉兴。汉代为济南郡,是济南国治所。据《三国志》载,曹操在184年,曾任济南相,其任职之地即是东平陵城。
