中国钱币学会少数民族钱币研究会藏族钱币研讨会于7月10日至15日在西藏自治区首府拉萨召开。来自西藏、四川、青海、甘肃、云南、新疆、内蒙古等省区的代表参加了研讨。西藏自治区人民政府副主席马李胜参加开幕式并作了重要讲话,中国钱币学会秘书长戴志强也出席了会议,并讲了话。大会由西藏自治区人民银行行长索朗达吉致开幕词,他说,这次会议云集了我国藏区少数民族钱币研究的专家学者,通过对藏族钱币的研究,“可以帮助我们了解认识西藏社会各个历史阶段的政治、经济、文化,进一步提高我们对西藏与祖国亲密关系的认识,增加我们维护祖国统一,反对分裂的决心。”他祝愿大会取得丰硕的科研成果。
