An improved multiple access control protocol is proposed, that is, centralized reservation signaling based multiple access (CRSMA). The protocol takes advantage of the piconet coordinator (PNC) used in IEEE 802.15 to avoid data collisions, reduce the use of control signaling, and solve the null channel problem. The protocol was simulated and analyzed. The protocol was compared with the multiple access control protocol in IEEE802.11, namely carrier sense multiple access with collision avoidance (CSMA / CA) and the current A typical improvement method compares the performance. The final analysis and simulation results demonstrate that CRSMA outperforms CSMA / CA and most of its improvements in terms of obtaining higher throughput and better bandwidth utilization.
