In a study of 123 TMJDS patients with edentulous jaws, edentulous jaws had a similar incidence of TMJDS compared with natural dentition. The total toothless group was 28.6% and the maxillary total toothless group was 31.3%. TMJDS edema TMJ snapping the most common, mandibular movement and pectoral palpation sensitive second, but less pain in TMJ and related areas. The position of the condyle in the joint recess on both sides of the asymmetry is also its salient features. The headache and eyes, ear symptoms and TMJDS no significant relationship. These characteristics are considered to be related to changes in occlusal, occlusal force and functional motor after denture and denture restoration.
