范纯仁,北宋名臣,哲宗朝两度拜相。他博闻强记,一生遵奉儒学“内圣外王”这一崇高理想,勤政爱民,忠直敢言,公忠体国,宽厚仁恕,并积极通过自身努力试图抚平激烈的党争,在北宋政治舞台上产生了较大影响,为北宋政治、经济和文化的发展做出了重要贡献。由于历史原因,《宋史·范纯仁传》对于其生平事迹、仕宦历程等记载皆有疏漏和错误,笔者在总结前人、把握翔实史料的基础上,旁征博引,悉心考证,从生卒时地、仕宦历程、子孙后代、著述成果等方面,对《宋史·范纯仁传》进行若干补正,以期对读者有所裨益。
