藻类化石过去在碳酸岩中发现较多,藻磷块岩在过去文献中则尚无报导。今年五月,在南方进行磷块岩矿床研究时,我们在两个地区的震旦系中,首次发现了层位稳定、延伸甚远的藻磷块岩。在该两地区內,藻磷块岩主要产于自南南西向北北东烦伏的背斜东翼。产出的层位有二(见图1):其一,位于南沱组灰绿色海绿石石英砂岩之上,陡山沱组磷块岩层的中、上部(以下简称下层);其二,产于灯影组下部碳酸岩和上部碳酸岩之间的磷块岩层中(以下简称上层)。下层藻磷块岩自甲地区向北延
In the past, algae fossils were found more in carbonate rocks. Algae-bearing phosphates have not been reported in the past literature. In May of this year, when studying the phosphorous rock deposits in the south, we found for the first time in the Sinian in both areas that algal phosphorites are stable and have a very long extension. In these two regions, algal phosphorite is mainly produced in the eastern anticline of the northern eastern Indo-Volcanic from South-West to North-North.
