江苏省泰兴市水产良种场1997～2007年对从美国引进的4批斑点叉尾鮰卵黄苗53万尾通过10年的试验研究,从浮盘孵苗(浮盘长×宽×高为1米×1米×0.15米,底部用20目筛绢制成)、夏花、鱼种的培育到成鱼养殖、亲本选育,直到繁殖顺利获得成功,并形成了鱼苗繁殖、大规格鱼种培育、成鱼养殖、配合饲料应用、水质调控、病害防治、饲养管理等技术规范。为斑点叉尾鮰的推广养殖创造了基础条件。
