汉英旅游翻译作为经济全球化飞速发展的产物,不仅是一种文化翻译,更是一种跨文化的交际活动。鉴于中西文化巨大差异以及旅游文本中汉英两种语言的不同特点,汉英旅游翻译绝不是一件易事。本文将德国功能翻译理论的代表人物Christiane Nord的四类翻译失误对汉英旅游翻译进行逐一分析,并指出汉英旅游文本的差异。
As a product of the rapid development of economic globalization, Chinese-English tourism translation is not only a kind of cultural translation, but also an intercultural communication activity. In view of the huge differences between Chinese and Western cultures and the different characteristics of Chinese and English languages in tourist texts, Chinese-English tourism translation is by no means an easy task. This article analyzes four types of translation mistakes by Christiane Nord, the representative of German functional translation theory, on the tourism translation between Chinese and English, and points out the differences between Chinese and English tourist texts.
