在5月23日举行的第八届中国卫星导航学术年会上,中国卫星导航系统管理办公室主任冉承其透露,我国已全面启动北斗系统第三步建设,即北斗三号系统,今年下半年发射6—8颗全球组网卫星。这意味着,从今年下半年开始,中国北斗卫星将正式开始全球组网,拉开北斗系统面向全球服务的帷幕。2018年前后,还将上演井喷式发射18颗北斗卫星的磅礴大戏。冉承其说,这将率先为“一带一路”沿线国家提供基本服务,直到2020年我国建成世界一流的全球卫星导航系统,最终形成全球服务能力。
At the 8th Annual Conference of China’s Satellite Navigation Academies held on 23 May, Ran Chengqi, director of the Office of Management of China’s Satellite Navigation System, disclosed that China has fully started the third phase of the construction of the BeiDou system, namely the Beidou-3 system and launched 6 in the second half of this year -8 global network of satellites. This means that from the second half of this year, China’s Beidou satellite will officially start its global networking and open the curtain for the global service of Beidou. Around 2018, a majestic launch of 18 Beidou satellites will also be staged. Ran Cheng said that this will take the lead in providing basic services for countries along the Belt and Road that until 2020 China will build a world-class global satellite navigation system and eventually form a global service capability.
