通信技术的宽带化、大容量需求,使得频率资源和系统容量的矛盾变得越来越突出。为了解决这一矛盾,形成了蜂窝移动通信网络以及无线城域网、无线局域网、无线个域网、无线传感器网络、无线自组织网络等多种网络共存的异构网络环境,异构网络融合技术成为国内外的研究热点,由此产生了网络选择、资源分配和管理、中继和协同等诸多急需研究的课题以及各种各样的具体应用。为此,本专题组织了9篇文章,以期对从事异构网络研究
