目的探讨原发与复发的多形性胶质母细胞瘤(GBM)中高迁移率蛋白A1(HMGA1)表达的差异,以及HM GA1表达失调在GBM恶化过程中的作用。方法应用免疫组织化学法比较、评估同一患者(n=19)的原发和复发GBM组织中HMGA1的表达,同时分析HMGA1表达与病情无恶化生存时间(PFST)之间的关系。结果原发和复发GBM中HMGA1的表达具有统计学差异(P=0.036),HMGA1高表达的患者的PFST明显缩短(6.1个月vs 11.5个月,P=0.030)。结论复发的GBM中HMGA1高表达,GBM患者PFST缩短与HMGA1的超表达有相关性。结果提示HMGA1可能在GBM的治疗中起重要作用。
Objective To investigate the difference of HMGA1 expression in primary and recurrent glioblastoma multiforme (GBM) and the role of dysregulation of HM GA1 in the progression of GBM. Methods The expression of HMGA1 in primary and recurrent GBM tissues in the same patient (n = 19) was evaluated by immunohistochemical method, and the relationship between HMGA1 expression and progression-free survival time (PFST) was also analyzed. Results The expression of HMGA1 in primary and recurrent GBM was statistically different (P = 0.036). The PFST was significantly shorter in patients with high expression of HMGA1 (6.1 months vs 11.5 months, P = 0.030). Conclusions The high expression of HMGA1 in GBM and the shortening of PFST in GBM are associated with the overexpression of HMGA1. The results suggest that HMGA1 may play an important role in the treatment of GBM.
