《上海节能》杂志自1982年创刊至今,已走过了20个年头。在这20年间经历了不平凡的道路,发展至今已成为上海乃至全国在节能领域比较有影响的一个专业杂志,作出了它应有的贡献。《上海节能》在创刊初期是以简报的形式发行的,报导我市在节能方面的一些动态和信息,不定期,分发各政府部门、有关单位和企业。1984年8月上海市节能服务中心重建后,根据需要《上海节能》改版为杂志,1985年3月上海市节能情报网成立,《上海节能》杂志随即作为上海市节能情报网网刊,为月刊,由上海市科技情报所印刷厂印刷,分发给上海各行业主管领导单位和全市近千家网员单位,接受全国节能情报网的指导。1992年全国节能情报网经国家批文更名为中国节能协会,因而上海市节能情报网相应经市民政局批准更名为上海市节能协会,《上海节能》杂志相应成为上海市节能协会会
Shanghai Energy Conservation magazine has been running for 20 years since it was founded in 1982. During these 20 years, it has undergone an extraordinary path and its development has so far become a professional magazine that has been influential in energy saving in Shanghai and the whole country and has made its due contribution. Shanghai Energy Conservation was issued in the form of a briefing in the early days of its publication, covering some of the city’s energy-saving aspects and information. From time to time, it distributed various government departments, relevant units and enterprises. After the rebuilding of Shanghai Energy Conservation Service Center in August 1984, Shanghai Energy Conservation Information Bureau was established as a magazine according to the need of “Shanghai Energy Conservation”. In March 1985, Shanghai Energy Conservation Information Network was established. Shanghai Energy Conservation magazine was immediately listed as Shanghai Energy Conservation Information Network Magazine, a monthly magazine , Printed by the Shanghai Science and Technology Intelligence Printing House and distributed to the competent leadership units in various industries in Shanghai and nearly a thousand net units in the whole city and accepted the guidance of the National Energy Conservation Information Network. In 1992, the National Energy Saving Intelligence Network was renamed as China Energy Conservation Association by the national approval document, and accordingly, Shanghai Energy Conservation Intelligence Network was renamed as Shanghai Energy Conservation Association after approval by Municipal Civil Affairs Bureau. Shanghai Energy Conservation Magazine accordingly became Shanghai Energy Conservation Association
