Ⅲ 1949年以后北京各类型图书馆事业的发展一、1949年以后北京各类型图书馆的发展北京地区图书馆事业的真正发展是在1949年以后。解放后,北京各类型图书馆事业均有巨大的发展。从性质上来看,图书馆成了广大劳动人民获得知识,提高科学文化水平的教育机构。从数量上看,解放初期北京各类型图书馆仅有55所,而至80年代末期,已发展到5,000多所。比解放初期增加105倍。此外,图书馆的藏书数量和质量,专业人员的数量和素质,服务工作的广度和深度,建筑设备的更新等,均有大幅度的增长和发展。具体情况见下表:
Ⅲ The Development of Various Types of Libraries in Beijing Since 1949 I. THE DEVELOPMENT OF LIBRARY LIBRARIES IN BEIJING SINCE 1949 After 1949, the real development of the libraries in Beijing has been developing. After liberation, all kinds of libraries in Beijing have tremendous development. From a qualitative point of view, the library has become an educational institution where the majority of working people gain knowledge and improve the scientific and cultural level. Quantitatively, there were only 55 libraries of various types in Beijing in the early days of liberation, and by the late 1980s they had grown to more than 5,000. 105 times more than in the early days of liberation. In addition, the number and quality of library collections, the number and quality of professionals, the breadth and depth of service work, and the updating of construction equipment have all witnessed substantial growth and development.
