由中央15家新闻媒体参与的“2004年度中国十大科技新闻人物”评选日前揭晓,CERNET专家委员会主任、本刊总编辑吴建平入选2004年度中国十大科技新闻人物。来自材料、环保、高性能计算机、生物科学、互联网等领域的十名专家成为此次新闻界心目中的年度科技人物,他们对中国各个科技领域的研究进展起到了重大的推进作用。
The selection of “2004 Top Ten Science and Technology News People of China” by 15 news media of the Central Government was announced recently. Wu Jianping, director of the CERNET Expert Committee and editor-in-chief of the journal, was selected as one of China’s Top Ten Science and Technology News People in 2004. Ten experts from the fields of materials, environmental protection, high-performance computers, biosciences and the Internet have become the annual science and technology figures in the eyes of the press. They have played a significant role in promoting the research progress in various fields of science and technology in China.
