西部是我国“西电东送”、“西气东输”、“北煤南运”等国家战略资源调配的战略基地,也是江河源头及上游等生态屏障。发展循环经济,创新、转变西部发展模式,将对我国政治经济产生广泛而深远的特殊影响。为了报道循环经济在西部大开发中的重大意义,本刊对中科院区域生态经济研究与规划中心主任董锁成进行了专访。
The western region is a strategic base for the nation’s strategic resource allocation such as “sending electricity from the west to the east”, “transporting natural gas from the west to the east,” and “transporting the northern coal to the south.” It is also an ecological barrier such as the source of the rivers and the upper reaches. The development of circular economy, innovation and transformation of the western development model will have a profound and far-reaching special impact on our country’s political and economic development. In order to report the great significance of circular economy in the development of the western region, the magazine conducted an exclusive interview with Dong Shoucheng, director of the Center for Regional Eco-economic Research and Planning of the Chinese Academy of Sciences.
