电影《赛德克·巴莱》以日据时期台湾的“雾社事件”为蓝本,表现了原住民赛德克族抵抗日本侵略者的故事。影片出众之处在于,导演并未延续主流意识形态简单歌颂原住民英勇抗日的观点,而是相对全面客观地呈现了台湾原住民的信仰、文化、生活以及战斗方式等生存状态。其中引人关注的是“文明”与“野蛮”冲突下的赛德克族人对身份的思考。本文着重考察赛德克族两代人对身份坚定和迷茫的由来,以及身份建构的方式等,希冀对重塑台湾原住民记忆有所帮助。
Based on the “Wushe Incident” in Taiwan during the Japanese Occupation, the movie “Seth Bale” shows the story of the indigenous people of the Seidel against the Japanese invaders. The outstanding feature of the film is that the director did not extend his view that the mainstream ideology simply praised the aborigines’ bravery and resistance to Japan, but relatively comprehensively and objectively presented the living conditions of Taiwan’s aborigines such as their faith, culture, life and way of fighting. Among them, the concern of the Seidic people under the clash of “civilization ” and “barbarism ” is the thinking of identity. This essay focuses on the origin and the way of identity construction of the Sezek two generations in hope of reshaping the memory of Taiwanese aborigines.
