屈肢葬是盛行于秦地的丧葬方式,这点已经得到田野考古的证明;岳麓秦简可从文献上证明这种丧葬方式的存在,且秦政府一直有意识地向关东地区推行之。岳麓秦简、里耶秦简中有数则关于祠庙设置及管理的材料,这从某种程度上说明了秦政府对祭祀活动的重视。又里耶秦简中所见的祠先农、祠是传世文献所未见的祠祀门类,也是秦重视农业的一大体现。秦代对礼俗的重视反映其治国是礼、法并行而非惟法是从。
