手压泵是采用手动操作的液压泵,是液化石油气、液氨、丙烯、丁二烯等介质的运输罐车(铁路罐车、汽车罐车等)及固定容器上紧急切断阀装卸时配套用的原动力部件。它采用单作用往复式柱塞系统。紧急切断阀的油缸活塞借助于手压泵的高压液体推动,使紧急切断阀的主阀瓣弹簧压缩,紧急切断阀处于工作状态,为了卸除油压,在手压泵上设有快速泄压装置和易熔塞,保证在紧急情况下,可快速卸除油压,使紧急切断阀自行关闭,达到安全的目的。
