指出了绿色消费是绿色发展的重要内容之一，而“两型社会”是绿色发展理念在实践中的运用；“两型社会”和绿色消费的目标是一致的，绿色消费是在消费领域实现“两型社会”。武汉城市圈作为中部地区最大最具活力的的城市圈，绿色消费方面的基础设施相对较好，但资源利用效率亟待改进。
