【单位简介】马泉河边防连是西藏军区最西边的连队,1960年建连以来,连队担负着渡河输送军民和守卫边防线的双重任务,连队所属昆木加哨所一年有半年被大雪封山。55年来,一茬茬官兵不顾高原缺氧,勇敢搏击严寒风雪,守卫着祖国边防的平安,连队因完成任务艰巨,工作成绩突出,涌现出二等功臣刘德文、一等功臣时红麟、方家华、人大代表罗府臣等一大批优秀官兵。2008年连队所属的昆木加哨所荣立集体二等功,2012年6月,连队被成都军区评为“里孜戍边模范连”荣誉称号。
