一、研究的背景1.1998年,教育部在第三次普通高校本科目录修订时,将社会体育专业列为正式专业,这是我国经济发展,人民生活水平提高,社会体育蓬勃发展的必然,社会需求社会体育专门人才。伴随我国体育人口的不断增加,对社会体育人才需求还有很大的缺口。仅以社会体育指导员为例:国家体育总局颁布的《全民健身纲要二期工程(2001---2010年)规划》指出,经过10年努力,我国城市社区、农村乡镇普遍建立社会体育指导站(中心),社会体育指导员数量达到65万人以上;我国社会体育指导员本、专科以上学历占34.90%。可以看出,社会体育的专业人才较少,知识水平偏低,专业指导能力偏差。
