国务院西部地区开发领导小组最近提出,当前和今后一个时期,要集中力量抓好关系西部地区开发全局的五个方面重点工作: 一、加快基础设施建设。必须从战略眼光出发,下更大的决心,以更大投入,先行建设,适当超前。要以公路建设为重点,加强铁路、机场、天然气管道干线建设;加强电网、通信和广播电视等基础设施建设;加强水利基础设施建设,特别是要坚持把水资源的合理开发和节约利用放在突出位置。要在做好充分论证的基础上,着力抓好一批重大骨干工程。
The Leading Group for the Development of the Western Region of the State Council has recently proposed that at present and in the coming period, we should concentrate on doing a good job in the following five key aspects of the overall development of the western region: First, speed up infrastructure construction.
