高等学校的英语教育是为了培养能熟练运用英语进行交流、记录与阅读的应用型人才。在高校的英语教学中最难的,也是最重要的就是英语口语教学了。为此,高校教师和学者都在积极探讨改善困境的措施,包括在教学方法、教学思路上的一些革新等等。本文在韩礼德功能语法理论的指导下对英语口语教学进行浅显探讨,以期能对高校英语口语教学提供理论借鉴。
English education in colleges and universities is to cultivate applied talents who can skillfully use English to communicate, record and read. The most difficult and most important thing in college English teaching is oral English teaching. To this end, university teachers and scholars are actively exploring measures to improve the plight, including some innovations in teaching methods, teaching ideas and so on. Under the guidance of Halliday’s Functional Grammar Theory, this thesis makes a brief discussion on Oral English teaching so as to provide a theoretical reference for Oral English teaching in colleges and universities.
