钢坯喷流预热装置是轧钢加热炉节能的一项新技术。本文介绍在一台实验装置上进行热模拟试验的概况,通过喷流实验装置的一系列试验工作,得出喷口与受热件表面间的最佳适用距离是:90~200毫米,l/d应在7.7—10.2范围内选取为好。喷出烟气温度t对热效率η有明显影响,为使喷流室内铜坯受热量增大,应尽量减少烟气出炉后的温降。过高的喷流速度W不利于热利用率的提高,一般最大的喷流速度以80—100米/秒为好。从喷流预热生产性装置的使用实践可知:炉子油耗有较大幅度的下降,节油10%以上。虽然装置投产后增加了风机用电,但由于钢温的改善,轧钢工序的电耗实际上是下降的。通过铜坯测温试验可知,经喷流装置后,钢坯平均预热温度可达170~200℃。喷流预热装置对环保及车间劳动保护无明显不良影响。投产半年来,高温风机运转良好。能适应多类合金铜生产的要求。
