印度尼西亚伊里安查亚中西部的Ｅｒｔｓｂｅｒｇ地区位于新几内亚岛中央山脉中，距阿拉弗拉海１２０ｋｍ．本区的矿床为新几内亚地区主要的Ａｕ±Ｃｕ矿床，包括多组矿体，与这些矿体相伴的是侵入于中－新生代沉积序列的年龄为４～２．５Ｍａ的过渡成分侵入体（图１）．
The Ertsberg region of central and western Irian Jaya in Indonesia is located in the central mountain range of New Guinea, 120km from Arafora. The deposits in this area are the main Au ± Cu deposits in New Guinea area and consist of several groups of ore bodies. Accompanying these ore bodies are intrusions of transitional elements that intrude into the Mesozoic-Cenozoic sedimentary sequence of age 4 ~ 2.5Ma Figure 1).
