毛竹是我国重要的经济林木之一,它具有生长快,成材早,产量高,用途广,收益期长等特点,还具有良好的干形,特殊的力学性质,生长周期比一般树木短2/3,如果管理适当,经过5—8年,就可以砍伐利用,深受群众欢迎。为了落实毛主席“备战、备荒、为人民”的伟大战略方针,我场于1958年底,在蒿山工区栽植了1.78亩毛竹速生丰产试验林,获得了“一年栽竹,三年成林,五年取材,十年高产”的良好效果。全场现已营造毛竹14,000余亩。尤其是无产阶级文化大革命以来,新栽了毛竹10,500 Bamboo is one of the important economic trees in our country.
