College English audio-visual task model can effectively solve the problems in the traditional teaching mode. This paper explains in detail the theoretical basis of the task-oriented model of college English listening and speaking, analyzes the principle of task design and illustrates the framework of the task-based teaching model of college English listening and speaking.
