法治标志着一个国家的文明程度,在法治建设的道路上,律师起着举足轻重的作用。律师肩负着维护司法公正和社会正义的历史使命,手握着法律的武器,为维护当事人的合法权益而战斗着。保障人权,实现正义,是律师的职业价值。在法治社会建设过程中,理顺社会关系、化解社会矛盾、促进改革发展等方面,都需要律师来提供广泛的法律服务工作。保障律师的权利,对于保障法律的正确实施具有重要的意义。由于历史原因导致我国法治建设起步晚,加之实践中司法机关对律师抱有偏见,以及立法的滞后性,我国律师的职业环境不是太好,如果律师的权利无从保障,律师将面临更艰辛的环境,当事人的合法权益也将无从保障,人权也得不到普遍的保障,这一切都是与法治社会背道而驰的。

Due to historical reasons, the construction of rule of law in our country started late, combined with the prejudice to lawyers in the judiciary and the lagging nature of legislation in our country, the professional environment of lawyers in our country is not very good. If lawyers’ rights can not be guaranteed, the lawyers will face a more difficult environment The legitimate rights and interests of the parties concerned will not be guaranteed and human rights will not be universally guaranteed. All of this runs counter to the rule of law.
