玉米螟 Ostrinia furnacalis(Guenée)是苏北沿海粮棉套作地区棉花上的重要害虫。为搞清本地区一代玉米螟的虫源问题,笔者自70年代中期到80年代,对棉田内玉米螟的越冬虫源进行了初步调查,现报道如下:一、材料和方法1.棉田后期玉米螟的转移规律和越冬分布调查。采取分期追踪调查的方法,在棉花生长后期,选虫量高的不同类型棉田三块,从9月20日开始,每隔20天左右,调查一次棉花上的玉米螟虫量,并查清幼虫所在部位,每块田查100—200株。田间玉米螟幼虫越冬分
Ostrinia furnacalis (Guenée) is an important pest on cotton in the coastal area of northern Jiangsu.
