The head of the U.S. space community recently pointed out that the United States is aware that the future commercial launch industry in the United States will be subject to certain threats and is concerned about this. These threats come from the Soviet Union’s challenge that the Soviet Union is desperately selling its aerospace equipment abroad; in addition, the US’s current rockets are outdated and urgently need to improve the one-time launcher and refit the remaining missiles as much as possible for launch services. For such issues, the United States has not yet taken corresponding measures. From October 30 to 31, 1991, COMSTAC discussed the above issues and expressed great concern. The committee is an industrial organization consisting of 22 members.
