The article discusses and analyzes the development of reinforced soil wall design theory, the selection of reinforcement materials and fillers, the requirements of backfill behind walls, drainage and frost heaving problems, the strengthening of seismic design, and the reinforced soil wall settlement. It emphasizes the importance of solving the problem of drainage and preventing frost heaving, and pay attention to solving the problem of large settlement difference between wall plate and reinforced soil. By putting forward some ideas and suggestions for these problems, it is hoped that the design theory of reinforced soil wall can be more perfect and the design level can be improved.
