Trace elemental cadmium (0.0Xppm) in geochemical samples is difficult to separate without direct enrichment by flame atomic absorption spectrometry. Existing literature to use more separation and enrichment can be measured, or add matrix modifier, we have conducted experiments and discussions on this basis, but the substrate interference has not been able to eliminate. We found that using thiourea-EDTA salt-ammonium dihydrogen phosphate as a matrix modifier can eliminate substrate interference and improve the atomization efficiency of cadmium, and can be used for direct determination of trace cadmium in geochemical exploration samples without isolation and enrichment.
