热处理的排烟(5100NM~3/H、950℃—250℃)进入余热锅炉产生蒸气(3—5kg/cm~22040kg/H),供采暖或吸收式制冷机用,回收热量约110万KCal/H如表5。日本电弧炉排烟,一般工厂只能冷却处理后排放,而这个工厂建设燃烧塔回收余热。15吨电弧炼钢炉排烟(28200NM~3/H、1070℃—460℃)送入如图3、图20所示的燃烧塔内燃烧,将塔外侧水套中的水加热。此塔具有将排烟初步除尘冷却和回收余热双重效用。回收热量约190万KCal/H。以上两项回收热量最大值约300万Kcal/H可做供热或制冷降温使用,如木模车间,生活间、办公室等采暖或空调降温,铸造再生砂降温调温,生活用热水等。
