This year marks the 70th anniversary of the victory of the Chinese People’s War of Resistance Against Japanese Aggression and the World Anti-Fascist War and the 78th anniversary of the Nanjing Massacre by Japanese troops invaded China. To remember history and safeguard world peace, the Central Government decided from September 2014 to establish the anniversary of the victory of the Chinese People’s War of Resistance Against Japanese Aggression on September 3 each year.
