阴阳二元是中国哲学的构成基因,只是符号,并不代表某种实体,仅仅表示着某种功能,其功能意义超过了实体价值。《内经·灵枢·阴阳系日月》:“且夫阴阳者,有名而无形。”然而,中国哲学、美学的范畴却是由它所构成。它包举宇内、囊括一切。中国美学最基本的阴柔阳刚美就是以它为哲学内核的。对于阴柔阳刚美,人们的现象描述甚多,却较少或没有作哲学上的探源。中国美学如果脱离了对中国哲学的研究,将是浮泛的、浅陋的。倘若把中国美学视为一个自洽系统,它绝非是封闭的、绝缘的,外系统的哲学既是其理论构成的内核,又是环抱它的系统圈,哲学因素给其以深刻作用和影响。
The duality of yin and yang is the gene of Chinese philosophy. It is just a symbol, not a kind of entity, just a kind of function, whose functional significance exceeds the value of the entity. “Nei Jing Lingshu yin and Yang Department of the sun and the moon”: “and yin and yang, famous and invisible.” However, the Chinese philosophical, aesthetic category is constituted by it. It covers the universe, everything. The most basic femininity of Chinese aesthetics is based on it as the core of philosophy. For feminine masculinity, there are many descriptions of people’s phenomena, but little or no philosophical exploration. If China’s aesthetics deviates from the study of Chinese philosophy, it will be frivolous and shallow. If we regard Chinese aesthetics as a self-consistent system, it is by no means a closed, isolated and systematic philosophy which is not only the core of its theory but also the system circle that embraces it. Its philosophical factors have a profound effect and influence on it.
