陈独秀(1879—1942年),字仲甫,安徽怀宁人.他是中国近现代历史上,特别是中国共产党历史上一位著名人物.同时,他更是一位一生中有过许多曲折变化的复杂人物.纵观其一生的历程,不难发现,陈独秀生命的最后五年或者说最后十年都是在抗日战争的历史环境中渡过的:就在“九·一八”事变发生的第二年十月,陈独秀被政府当局逮捕入狱;正值全民族抗日战争刚刚开始之际,即1937年8月,陈独秀获释出狱;
