Today’s Yellow River Road, formerly called Parker Road. Located at 21 Parker Road is a theater, called Carlton Theater, the founding of New China changed its name to the Yangtze River Theater. After 1935, the Carleton Theater became Shanghai’s most luxurious and trendy nightlife district, busy, glittering, dignified celebrities gathered. This is due to Zhu Boquan, a financier in Shanghai. At that time, the Grand Bright Cinema was on the brink of bankruptcy due to poor cash flow. The bright real estate company with Zhu Boquan as general manager purchased the Grand Bright Cinema and the connected Carlton Theater and Gongdelin Vegetarian Restaurant with 2 million silver cash. Under his management, he became the business card of Oriental Paris and Shanghai.
