井陉矿务局已有90年开采历史,三分之二的矿井属晚年衰老矿井。为了提高煤炭资源回收率,延长矿井服务年限,使衰老矿井继续为国家作贡献,井陉矿务局一矿进行了断裂构造找煤,岩浆岩侵入区找煤,陷落柱内找煤,复采找煤,河下采煤,车站下采煤以及解放受水威胁煤层等。使矿井延长寿命34年,创产值5亿多元。
