目前,我国从事科技信息工作的人员中有2/3左右属跨世纪的,他们大都受过良好的高等教育,具有一定的专业知识和从事科技信息工作的经验,所以对他们进行继续教育,从中培养和造就跨世纪科技信息人才是现实的、可行的。同时,由于他们离开学校已有一段时间,原来所学的知识与现实社会的科技发展已远不适应。知识陈旧、专业单一与科技发展、信息处理技术变革、信息载体更新、信息多学科、立体交叉发展及信息市场经济化的未来社会的矛盾日益突出,要解决这些矛盾,继续教育是必要且有效的。 笔者认为,对跨世纪科技信息人员应主要进行以下几方面的继续教育: 1.政治思想素质教育
At present, about two-thirds of China's personnel engaged in science and technology information work in the past 10 centuries. Most of them are well-educated and have some professional knowledge and experience in science and technology information work. Therefore, they should continue their education and cultivate them It is realistic and feasible to create a transnational scientific and technological talent. At the same time, the knowledge they have learned and the development of science and technology in the real world are far from adequate because of the time they left school. The contradiction between knowledge aging, specialization and development of science and technology, information technology transformation, information carrier renewal, information multidiscipline, interdisciplinary development and information society market economy becomes increasingly prominent. To solve these contradictions, continuing education is necessary and effective . The author believes that the cross-century science and technology information personnel should mainly carry out the following aspects of continuing education: 1. Political and Ideological Education
