Art history is a narrative process that can not be predicted. Not only is Marcel Duchamp the artist who has gradually become a remarkable artist in the past 50 years, but the standard of criticism has also changed because of his fame. Works that today seem unrelated to one another will not be considered tomorrow. The association of an acclaimed contemporary artist with a certain artist of the past can open previously closed doors and reinterpret the art of contempt or despised works with a fresh perspective. As a result, historians and critics will take a fresh look at the past, while those once marginalized artists such as late Kacabia and Kuzma have been re-recognized and returned to the mainstream. This is where the “art of influence” has a place of attraction and is also fascinating in the narrative and interpretation of art history.
